The mobile centre includes interactive touch screen and information boards, as well as a moving replica of a V90 wind turbine - the same model that is used on the Robin Rigg Wind Farm. There is also a Human Turbine where energetic visitors can see just how hard they need to work to power simple electrical appliances.

The E.ON Energy Experience for Primary Schools - 100% FREE

The experience has been created to help teachers to teach young people about energy. The resources will help young people to understand about the different sources of energy we use, the relative merits of each, the options for energy production going forward and what their choices will mean locally, nationally and globally.

E.ON has worked closely with the education community to ensure that the programme offers an exciting interactive resource. Teacher support materials will provide lesson plans and curriculum links for geography and science curricula to help teachers get the most out of the programme too.

Science & Engineering Show for Year KS2 students

A new show for KS2 students – for those with an interest in blood, guts and all things gross - Glorious Blood!.

This lively show takes a journey through the human body. Students will discover what blood is, what it does, and where it goes. What are nutrients and how do they help us? Why does our heart beat faster when we exercise?  Follow the incredible journey of blood through he human body, discovering what’s in it and what does happen when you start to lose it!

Science & Engineering Show for KS3 students

Bringing Danger High Voltage direct to your school! 
Hair-raising high-voltage demonstrations make this KS3 show about electricity and magnetism an electrifying experience. Sparks will fly, windows will rattle as the Outreach Team deliver this fun session for all.
