Purpose: The object of the charity is raise aspirations and encourage West Cumbrian students to study engineering, maths and/or science related subjects at degree level..
Eligibility: Candidates wishing to be considered for a prize must:
- Have a permanent address within West Cumbria (Copeland or Allerdale Area).
- Commence Year 12 or Further Education College studies in September 2024.
- Be actively considering higher education in a STEM Subject (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths).
- Be planning to study at A-Level in 6th form (studying Maths and a Science Subject or Product or Industrial Design or similar) or studying a Level 3 in a STEM course at college (BTEC National Foundation Diploma in Engineering, National Foundation Diploma in Applied Science or Integrated Diploma in Nuclear Engineering and Science or similar).
Please note proof of acceptance onto course must be given prior to allocation of prize.
