The REACT Foundation Award 2014 Winners

The 2014 REACT Foundation Bursary Winner is Cait Moore of Keswick School. Cait who has been accepted at Newcastle University to study mechanical engineering picked up £3,000 at the Awards Ceremony at The Beacon Whitehaven. Joining her was Peter Sutton of Cockermouth School who picked up the IMechE West Cumbria Bursary of £1,000. Peter will be studying at Durham University. A number of other Year 12 students from local schools picked up small bursaries after being accepted onto an A level course and studying Maths and a Science subject.
